OK, ladies, you know how it is. You want to know that you smell good, but you have to be respectful of the folks around you who are super sensitive to fragrance. Well, have I got news for you! I've discovered Elizabeth Arden's new fragrance, "Untold." Here's the manufacturer's promo on it:
"There’s an untold story behind every multi-faceted, modern woman who is thriving in her life’s journey. The world never sees all of her, but can only steal a glimpse at a time. Untold is the mystery behind her smile, the purpose of her stride, the inspiration in that spontaneous moment and the dreams that light up her eyes. Untold is the mystery behind every stolen moment of this woman life."There are not many women I know who wouldn't want that description to fit them. So, kudos to the marketing team at Elizabeth Arden.
But, let's get to the bottom line... what's the product like? To me, fragrance is kind of like wine. What appeals to me isn't going to appeal to everyone. When it comes down to fragrance, I prefer a bit of spice, a little musk, a touch of flowers and, above all, subtlety. I want people to be aware that I just walked by because there was a pleasant change in the air around them, not because they caught a whiff of perfume. And, this is that fragrance. It's no more obtrusive than the scent of a luxury bath soap.
Here's the "smelling notes":
Heart notes
Gardenia, Peony, JasmineTop notes
Blackcurrant, Luscious Raspberry, Pink PepperBase notes
Sandalwood, Patchouli Heart, MuskScent
Oriental FloralFeel
Feminine
And, I found the price to be reasonable within the realm of designer fragrances, especially if purchased on sale.
Spicey!!!!!!!!!!! And, the Jasmine will really energize you and bring out "I am Woman. Hear me Roar." sense. A part of the description was mind blowing because I recently did a reading for a friend and it was practically the same description. I am going to have to tell this person about this fragrance. Maybe they know someone who would like it. I am going to paraphrase the description above to match what I told the friend in the reading and you can match up the similarities and tell me what you think: "She's been asked back because they've only gotten bits and pieces and there is something about her that they like and they want to know more. This will be the final time and she has to go in with everything that she has. [She will show them that there is, indeed, something mysterious about her, something they want to know more about. She has shown that she is passionate about this endeavor and will carry her responsibilities with purpose. They have already seen it in the way she walks, and they will feel both her inspiration and their own in that spontaneous moment when she walks in again and they see her carrying herself with pride and joy and confidence. And, not only that, but KNOWLEDGE. They will know she is the one who can fulfill their purpose and that will be that.
ReplyDeleteI know it's not verbatim but, when I read it I was like "HEY! I know those words!" HA HA!
